From reports, thousands of children, raced across the South Lawn of the White House on Monday in the annual Easter Egg Roll.
Swinging large wooden spoons, scores of kids pushed and prodded brightly colored eggs across the White House lawn.
The egg roll, now in its 136th year, featured such celebrities as Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, actor Jim Carrey, singer Ariana Grande, 2014 Miss America Nina Davuluri and Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster.
There also were live performances from pop stars and the Marine Corps Band.
President Obama reportedly stepped onto the balcony to welcome the crowd of more than 30,000 people and introduce first lady Michelle Obama.
“Happy Easter! This is the biggest event we have at the White House all year long,” the president told the crowd. He hailed his wife as “the person who makes this all possible.”
The Obamas’ daughters, Sasha and Malia, were not in attendance because they were in school, the first lady’s press secretary, Joanna Rosholm, said.
The theme of this year’s egg roll was “Hop into Healthy, Swing into Shape,” part of the first lady’s Let’s Move initiative to encourage fitness and healthful eating among children.
With the egg roll, “we get to celebrate something near and dear to my heart — it’s making sure kids are healthy and active,” Michelle Obama lady said.
Attendees flocked between sports courts, cooking stations, storybook readings and craft areas. They could also take pictures with vegetable mascots, the Easter bunny, Spider-Man and the Minions from the animated movie “Despicable Me.”
The Obamas reportedly made their rounds to each of the stations after the introduction. At the story station, the president read “Where the Wild Things Are,” which he says was one of his favorite books as a child. He reads it every year at the Easter Egg Roll.
After the story station, the president went to the basketball and tennis courts, where he played a couple of games and posed for photos with children.
Meanwhile, Michelle Obama reportedly visited the cooking station and the story station.
In other Obama newz, The POTUS made Time Magazine's Top 100 Most Influential People of the World in the world of music, film, technology, politics, and religion. This is his ninth time listed-- the most of any other person on the list this year....Obama was the only prominent ILLI MO based person who made the list. Others who made the list were Beyonce (who was No. 1 and made the cover), Carrie Underwood, Pope Francis and Miley Cyrus to name a few.
Although fans have been speculating, nobody connected to Scandal has made an official statement regarding Kansas City, Mo native Columbus Short's space there until today. Check the official statement that he released through his publicist below:"At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I've called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful."
We are not surprised.

The big news this week has been the big fight that was aired on The Real Housewives of Atlanta between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams. But there has been another fight of sorts involving Williams but not with her fists but with a record she recorded that was given to another artist.....it involvesChicago native singer and R&B Divas ATL star Syleena
Johnson.
After Williams debuted the “Perfectly Worthless” as her next single on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” the song was reportedly sold by the producer and songwriter of the song named Pierre Medor to Johnson's producers.
This is what was told to a source:“We have since sold the song to Syleena Johnson of ‘R&B Divas’. Syleena, who has a phenomenal voice, did an amazing job recording the song and plans to include ‘Perfectly Worthless’ on her forthcoming album as well as the up coming season of ‘R&B Divas.’”
Johnson recently opened up to Mara The Hip Hop Socialite, and shared that while she was not upset with Williams, she was completely thrown off by the entire situation.
“I was taken aback, but I was madder at the producer [Pierre Medor],” Syleena explained. ” I felt like uh oh, here we go again with people trying to sell songs to two people and get their money, that’s what I thought.”“It turns out she had the song first, she actually recorded the song, or attempted to record the song first, and they decided that they didn’t want it, that’s what Pierre was told – this is what I was told because I clearly wanted an explanation,” she continued. “Porsha’s camp had emailed saying that they didn’t want the song, they weren’t going to use the song, and they were going to try to get Bravo to take it off of the show, which is hard to do. They did say that they didn’t want to use it, they didn’t have any intentions of using it. So basically she said she wrote the song, which is not true, which is probably why they allowed it.”
As for the belief that Williams stole the song the from Johnson or that the mix-up caused some sort of tension between the two singers, Johnson says:
“To me, I don’t feel like the record was stolen from me because she did it first. So I don’t have anything against Porsha in real life, and I’m not throwing no shade, but had we been talking about an actual recording artist who had been doing this for a really long time and had come into this kind of circumstance, I would feel some type of way. I would feel like wow, this was messed up
,Johnson reprotedly saw Williams singing the song on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on a past episode this season and said, in an interview with The Jazmine Brand that she was and still is confused.
Check out a few highlights from the interview.
theJasmineBRAND.com: Were you surprised at all that Porsha allegedly took ‘Perfectly Worthless’, a song that you have on your new album?
Syleena: I was surprised to hear the song on her show. I am/was confused maybe, but not really anything else. Are you concerned at all that the single will loose momentum because of Porsha’s version?I am not concerned about the momentum because it is a great song. Great songs will break thru. The people will make the call.Have you had a chance to speak with Porsha to clear the air?No I haven’t spoken to Porsha, but I’m sure she’s a nice person. I don’t think she had me in mind when she decided to drop this as her single….I hope
Speaking of R&B Divas: Atlanta, the third season debuted on TVONE this past Wednesday.
From the reports, it appears that the producer of the song is the one that caused this and not the two divas. But after the release of Williams' "Flatline" maybe it was a good idea for the producer to go with Johnson....
Robbins, Illinois native actress/singer Keke Palmer is about to add another mark on her resume: talk show host. At 20-years old, she is reportedly going
to be the youngest talk show host ever. Palmer's talk show, which will
focus on pop culture, social issues and celebrity interviews. The Keke Palmer
Project debuts on BET this
summer.
St. Louis native rap artist Chingy will be among several music artists who have signed on for the Keller Williams tribute album Keller Williams In The 70s: Volume 1. The album will reinterpret songs from one of Williams’ most overlooked periods, extending from his birth in 1970 through his appearance in the fourth grade in 1979. The song that Chingy will record will be “Caca Doodie” that will also have Bono, Scott Metzger and Joe Russo on the song. f A portion of the proceeds will benefit Keller Williams.
Meanwhile Chingy has formed a business group called Team Jackspot to help people fgenerate residual income. For more info go to www.sharechingysjackpot.com
Lets hope Chingy can get his career and biz back in order especially after he went on record to the media about how the tranny relationship rumors with Sidney Starr wrecked his music career.

BELLEVILLE — According to an article from Belleville News Democrat, actors on-screen came together to help a farmer heal from his wife's death just as real people off-screen came together to film, "Belleville." The 90-minute independent film premiered Tuesday at the Lincoln Theatre in downtown Belleville.
"They loved it. They are so proud of it and me," said executive producer and lead actor Ted Trent. "It makes me feel great knowing that it meant so much to so many people. That's why we are going to do it again, and again, and again."
The movie is based in a farm outside of Belleville. It begins with Trent's character, Neila (alien spelled backwards) crawling out of a pond and into the life of recluse farmer Willie (Tim O'Leary), who is grieving the loss of his wife. The town comes together under the direction of Neila to help Willie overcome his loss.
Rose Marie Fitzgerald, of Millstadt, spoke from the red carpet about being an actress in the movie.
"It was definitely on my bucket list," she said.
Chris Talley, who owns The Bluegrass Shack in New Athens, was also featured in the movie, teaching Trent how to play the banjo. Part of the movie was shot at Talley's store.
"We really didn't think that it was going to happen," Talley said. "And then it did. It was really fun."
Trent, a Belleville native and executive producer of the film, now lives in Los Angeles but decided to film the movie in his hometown at locations such as Eckert's Orchards, the Skyview Drive-In and Blanquart Jewelers.
The premiere will be followed by 23 showings in the next five days and more through May 8. There will also be showings in St. Louis and Carbondale.
Trent plans to use profits from "Belleville" to produce another movie in and around Belleville called "Expect Delays." The Christmas themed movie by Ted Trend Studios and Circa 87 will be filmed in the next few weeks. Auditions take place between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. this Friday and Saturday at the Lincoln Theatre.

Why was it so much hype about the Kenya and Porsha fight and only thing that was seen was a hair pull and drag? And Why was Kenya allowed to bring props to the set? Why did that Bundy guy say that blacks will be more comfortable as slaves? Why was Drake caught using a lint brush on his pants at the Raptors-Nets game? And Why does Keke Wyatt make so many ugly faces on the R&B Divas show?
