Nightly Show host Larry Wilmore caused a buzz during his jokes at White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
On Saturday night, “The Nightly Show” host made fun of Brian Williams, Ted Cruz and Barack Obama, among many others. His audience, for the most part, was reportedly stone-faced.
“I really viewed this as a roast,” Wilmore said on the latest episode of Re/code Media with Peter Kafka. “I had nothing against anybody in that room, but this is the time when you get to poke at people, pull down that wall and have some fun.”
Wilmore also discussed why he closed the roast by referring to the president as “my n—a,” a controversial show of African-American solidarity that Wilmore says he was still on the fence about mid-speech.
“You got to see how we interact when we’re not there. This is how we do it. And this is a word that has been used against black people for so long,” he said. “I was called a n—er several times as a child. I’ve heard that word. To defuse that and to use it in a way of camaraderie, and to take the power out of it in that moment is something that meant a lot to me personally.”
President Obama said that he understood the spirit of his saying, "Barry, good job my nigga." And we get it as well. Was it appropriate? Well, in the context of the event, its a roast, so technically yes. The Obamas have changed the landscape of the Oval Office as far as their being the first family of color to be in the spotlight and how the world still reacts to that fact by questioning their racial integrity or intolerance. But we think after Obama said,

Beyonce's sixth album “Lemonade” debuted at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 this week and its her sixth no. 1 album (of six). It earned 6,530,000 equivalent album units — used to measure streaming albums — 485,000 of which were pure album sales, according to Billboard. She also has become the first female artist to have 12 trackson the Billboard Hot 100, surpassing Taylor Swift’s previously held record of 11.
The release of the album additionally spurs all 12 of its tracks to debut on theBillboard Hot 100, while all 12 also appear on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart (with 11 debuting), powered by mostly by sales and streams.
With her Hot 100 entrances, Beyonce makes history: it's the first time that a female act has charted 12 or more songs on the Hot 100 at the same time, surpassingTaylor Swift's previous record of 11 (set on Nov. 13, 2010, sparked by the release of her album Speak Now). On Dec. 5, 2015, Justin Bieber bested Drake and the Beatles for the one-week record among all acts: 17 songs on the Hot 100 simultaneously, as his album Purpose debuted atop the Billboard 200.
"Formation," originally released Feb. 6 preceding her Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show performance of the track the following day, leads her parade of debuts with points stemming from 174,000 in digital sales (the most of any of the album's tracks) and 6.5 million U.S. streams in the week ending April 28. While "Formation" charts on the Hot 100 for the first time, it re-enters the 50-position Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at No. 6; it had previously peaked at No. 33 (March 19) based only on its performance at radio.
Of the newly released Lemonade songs (i.e., all except "Formation"), "Sorry" was streamed the most in the tracking week, logging 14.2 million U.S. streams, while "Hold Up" racked up the highest sales: 123,000 downloads in its first week. The sultry "6 Inch," featuring The Weeknd, starts with the third-highest weekly domestic streams (12.2 million) and sales (99,000).
Here's a look, song by song, at Beyonce's dozen tracks apiece on the Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs:

Even by the high standards of posthumous career boosts, Prince is breaking new ground when it comes to album sales in the wake of his death.
The Minneapolis’ rock icon set a new record by landing five titles simultaneously in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 album chart. It’s the first time an artist has accomplished that since the chart was created in 1963 — a feat that can be partly attributed to his music not being available on most digital streaming sites.
Prince made the chart at the Nos. 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 positions with “The Very Best of Prince,” “Purple Rain,” “The Hits/The B-Sides,” “Ultimate” and “1999,” respectively.
He likely would have made the No. 1 spot two weeks in a row if not for his 2004 Grammy Awards duet partner BeyoncĂ©, who issued her much-ballyhooed new album, “Lemonade,” last week.
All told, Prince sold what Billboard itself called “a staggering” 4.41 million albums from the day after his April 21 death to the chart cutoff day last Thursday.
By comparison, David Bowie racked up 308,000 in U.S. album sales in the four days after his Jan. 10 passing. Michael Jackson sold 422,000 in the week after his death on June 25, 2009.
Prince’s “Very Best Of” alone sold 391,000 copies, according to Nielsen Music figures — and he had 18 more albums make the Billboard 200 chart. These figures include both physical and digital (download) sales.
“If people in Minneapolis had any doubt just how big Prince was to the rest of the world, this should settle it,” said David Bakula, a senior vice president at Nielsen Entertainment, which tracks album sales.
Jenner became “the world’s greatest athlete” after winning gold at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. The alleged Sports Illustrated cover will mark the 40th anniversary of her win.
Well, one thing for sure, the transgender issue definitely
kicked into overdirve after Caitlyn Jenner came into the pop
mileau. We think its great marketing but many are saying
they dont want to see her nude becasue of her age. Well,
looks like this will challenge agesim in this country and the

Dellwood Mayor Reggie Jones reportedly announced the original Sweetie Pies is going to open once again on Friday in Dellwood after being closed for several years. It was also a story line on Sweetie Pies reality series "Welcome To Sweetie Pies" on OWN a couple of seasons ago as Miss Robbie dealt with the closing of it due to heavy repair to the building.
And speaking of Sweetie Pies, one of its stars, Tim Norman, is following in his mother's music footsteps when he released a music video "Loud" featuring the ATL rap group Migos. Norman's stage name is Time.

This week we feature rap artist/business mogul 50 Cent. Although he is in the news for making fun of an autistic child and later apologizing and giving money to Autism Foundation, he has always been branded with controversy even when his rap career began in 2002. But along with his image, one of the mainstays has been his iron pumped body. Although he has slimmed a bit, he has maintained his fitness.
.
WORDZ TO THE WHYZ
Why are people so surprised that Donald Trump won the GOP nomination? Why is Sinead OConnor claiming that Arsenio gave prince drugs back in the day? And even i f she was telling the truth, why is she telling this now? Why are the media trying to make Prince a pill toting drug addict or that he had AIDS without waiting for the autopsy report? Why did 50 cent make fun of that autistic boy and posted online claiming he didnt realize he was autistic? Why did Usher post a nude selfie on his Snapchat? Why do we care if Puffy retired from music or not? Why are heroin pushers in Philly selling the drug with Philly bred NBA star Steph Curry on the package? Why do fast food workers ask for your order at the drive thru as soon as you pull up to it?
