NOTE: This event had a relaxed vibe as people mingled and schmoozed. To kick off the party was St Louis rock band Superhero Killer that was awesome but it seemed as though the crowd was a bit low key for their set. The crowd was intimate (probably due to a competing fashion event held at Chase Park Plaza) but picked up when the afterparty clubbers came after the fashion show. Although the fashion show highlighted last year's winners, it would have been nice for this year's Top Six vying for this year's Project Design prize could have at least gotten some stage time (They were acknowledged by host and event creator Dwight Carter before the fashion show started). The fashion show featured last years winners Steven Curd and Cindy Henry who had some chic and unique designs and the models kept it interesting by not just walking up and down the isle emotionless. Some blew kisses, flexed their muscles, and engaged the crowd with lively smiles. In the house were music producer Willie Woods, STL TV's Gilberto Pinella, fashion stylist Skylar Barnes, event socialite Cavalli Reese, and real estate agent Nate Johnson. Major Brands' Elson and Tre Williams and their assistant Kim Jordan arrived to set up for the After Party.
