OUT 118--OUTSTAGN'S FASHION REVIEW of NELLYS 8th ANNUAL BLACK AND WHITE BALL @FOUR SEASONS in STL DEC 22

HEY OUTSTAGRS we are at it again with our fashion picks of the annual Nellys Black and White Ball. This year, we had to search to find some ladies and gents who stood out from the pack. Most of the ladies wore basic black and the gents with the usual black tux, but there were some fashions we spotted that was well worth mentioning. Below are our findings
(IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

This sequined gray number this young lady wore really shined on the red carpet. And she hoisted her gown just so we cab see  the matching pumps to match .

Of the black gowns, one that was work by this young lady's was classy accentuated with silver earrings and bracelet.

STL radio personality Tammie Holland, one of STl's glamazons, had us taking a second look to see if her see through black lace number was more than meets the eye. Her black heels also had lace trimmings . And of course we are still gettin life from Hollands blonde tresses.

Holland was in good company with model Christiaan Cofield (left) sporting the classic tux with a black bowtie with silver trimmings, STL Post Fashion Editor Debra Bass in a lovely asymmetrical white dress with a touch of pink and socialite Vincent Flewellyn  in a shiny silver  suit.

One of the best dressed couples of the nite Thurlester Robinson and Lindenwood University PR Director Shane Williamson in a chic bikini top cut  black gown  with silver trimmings.

Williamson solo in her gown.

Salon owner (and Nelly sister) Ashley Donahue wore an elegant white flowing dress with silver shoulder straps.

Another best dressed couple was Allison Jayne Rask, who wore a sleek black gown that was backless and had a sheer top and with see through lines that accentuated her figure, and former St Louis Cardinals player and restaurateur Jim Edmonds in basic tux.

Rask solo.

This young lady had one of the best gowns of the nite another sleek number, bikini top with gold trimmings. Her locks swept on one side also helped accentuate her gown,

Socialite Lisa West looked lovely in her one strapped shoulder white gown embodied with a white jewel.

Another best dressed couple was Ashley Nichols, one of the glamazons,  who wore a standard black gown but it had pockets to them which was quite fashion forward and her black necklace was an added touch, and Derrty ENT CEO Ali Jones in standard tux and bowtie (Check out  his silver grill!)

Nichols solo.
Another best dressed couples, singer Sevin Lii, another of the glamazons, wowed with this string tube topped gown. Her long back hairdo was sleek and complimented her gown. St Lunatics Murphy Lee, who compliments Li perfectly, i, was hip hop dapped in a simple black vest with white bowtie and black and white dress sneaks.
Lii solo

St Lunatic Kyjuan and wife Aisa Cleveland dressed in male and female tuxes. Cleveland's androgynous look was a hit of the nite!

This gent was definitely a show stopper, Farnsworth Bentkley style in a top hat, tux, gloves, and umbrella. He actually pulled it off.

Mista Couture Style Contest STL Rep Leland Lambert looked dapper in his tapered tux with white and black striped tie.

Journalist Brian Shields (right) took a risk and wore some color that nite wearing a pink shirt with black tie, blue suit jacket and white slacks. And the red flower was giving us life!

Fashionista Ola, another of the glamazons, who was wearing one of her gowns from her Ola Style line, looked elegant in a two piece dress and gown trimmings that was fashion forward.

Abe Givins was dapped in his tux, but it was the young lady to his left who wowed with this radiant low cut, shoulderless, long sleeve, gray and black spotted gown that gripped her curves,

Another shot of the young ladys dress to the left.

It is rare that the gent outshines the lady, but this young man did just that in a smokers tux  jacket that was made out of velvet. His look itself was sleek and polished,
TV personality Jeff Small (right) was polished in a two toned black tux suit whos shirt cuffs were on point.

We would be remiss if we wouldnt say how dapped out YOURS TRULY was in a black tux and silver vest, and long black scarf. His pants by the way  had kangaroo pockets on the sides.

Now we would not be who we are if we didnt point out some of the Fashion Flaws we spotted

We give this gent props for trying to be fashion fly, but something went wrong in his accessorizing. Not even the young lady who was presentable in her dress could not help because he outshone her.

Although he looked fine in his tux, the lady he was with however the short white number with black trimmings and prints was all wrong.

The young lady on the left was nice in her pants ensem but her friend, well...if her dress was ankle length we think it would have actually been a nice dress, but it was too short.
Although she looked OK in her gown, it was taken away from her date's hair that was all over the place. We also were not feeling his gray bowtie and matching shoes.

Gents must wear a tie at least. This guy must have forgotten that,

The gent in the back wearing the white stole over his shoulder....no. no. no....even though he
is a fashion designer, this look was not designed for him.

OK with that said, here are are picks fro Best Dressed Female, Best Dressed Male and Best Dressed Couple
