Maatology Productions presents the Seventh Annual Mista Couture Charity Style Contest where gents from parts of the country compete for the title of Mr Style and Fashion. 

There will also be a vending shopping bazaar/meet and greet recpetion prior to the show at 4pm (ARRIVE PROMPTLY) and contest at 6PM. Celebrities attending are Brad James who plays "Todd"  on Tyler Perry's For Better of Worse and stars on Wal-mart commercials, Ivan Ellis who plays "Royale T" on Empire and Ms Juicy from the Rickey Smiley Morning Show. 

Appetizers and beverages will be served respectively and there also will be a prize raffle. 

Tickets are $30 VIP; $20 GEN and $10 STANDING ROOM. 21 AND UP EVENT,

A new report claims that Chicago native Sherri Shepherd will be returning 

to co-host ‘The View’ in the fall of 2015 as part of a part-time gig. 

It’s been less than a year since Sherri Shepherd, left The View, but she’s
 reportedly on her way back to the hit daytime show! Sherri will be one of The 
View’s new  rotating hosts, along withCandace Cameron-Bure, Stacey London,, 
and Molly Sims, according to the new report.

Sherri will return to The View on a part-time basis, Daily Mail reports. She will be one of 
the hosts who will switch out as the fifth host on the daytime talk show. The report 
claims that the plans are to have Sherri co-host at least twice a week. The news is 
planning on being revealed onThe View before the show goes on hiatus in August. 
The report about this new rotation comes less than a week after co-host Rosie Perez, 
announced she would be leaving the show. 

It was recently revealed that comedienne 
MichelleCollins, would be replacing Rosie and joining the 
show next season, alongside
 and Raven-Symone, Rosie O’Donnell, who left The View 
in Feb. 2015.
On July 10, Sherri posted an Instagram photo and message 
remembering her fond times at 
The View. She wrote, “I cried when I left @abctheview 
because of these Producers! For seven 
years they held me, nurtured me, guided me and became
 my Family – love them so much 
because they put their hearts into their jobs.” She posted 
another message on July 12 that
 read, “I might have left @abctheview but I didn’t leave my Family @NicolleSWallace 
@gregpic17 @jamiehammer16 @summur13 @lbda love these guys.” 
along with Chicgaoan Jenny McCarthy,. 

Sherri  called her time on The View the “best seven years of 
her life.” 

Kudos to Sherri on getting her new gig back and its 
especially good now that she has
to pay over 4 grand  a month in child support in the 
surrogate suit  she lost in court last month 
against her ex husband Lamar Sally.

















An online petition calling for rapper Kanye West to be
 replaced by a Canadian artist at the Pan Am Games 
closing ceremonies now has the support of more than 
30,000 people.
The Change.org petition, launched by Allen Simans 
after the Chicago-bred superstar was announced as 
the ceremony's headliner on Wednesday, says choosing 
West "raises several concerns among the people."
"Why was a local artist or group not chosen and 
supported, just as our local athletes are throughout the 
Games?" the petition says.

The petition suggests Drake, Walk Off The Earth, Feist, 
Deadmau5 or several other options to replace West. It 
also bears a picture of the infamous moment West 
interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the 
2009 Video Music Awards — an incident repeatedly 
used to foment hostility toward West.
Many fans and athletes, however, were thrilled to 
hear West will be performing at the Games.
Pitbull and Serena Ryder are also set to perform at
 the ceremony, which takes place on July 26 at the 
Pan Am Dome.
Well, as they say controversy breeds not just success but 
curiosity. We know why Ye was chosen--it draws attention
and the same ones who signed the petition will be
the same ones there. 























St Louis native TV exec Andy Cohen has apologized to 
actress Amandla Stenberg after he weighed in on the 
Hunger Games actress’ recent feud with Kylie Jenner 
during the July 12 episode of Watch What Happens Live. 

"Today's Jackhole goes to the Instagram feud between 
Kylie Jenner and Hunger Games star/Jaden Smith's prom 
date, Amandla Stenberg, who criticized Kylie for her 
cornrows, calling it cultural appropriation,” Cohen said, 
turning to guests Laverne Cox and Andre Leon Talley. 
“White girls in cornrows — is it okay or nay?"

Both guests seemingly agreed that it was fine for Jenner 
to wear cornrows, but the comments and lighthearted nature 
of the discussion sparked “#boycottBravo” to start trending 
on Twitter, and on Tuesday, July 14, the Bravo host tweeted 
a formal apology.
“I want to apologize to Amandla,” he wrote. “I didn't 
understand the larger context of this cultural 
discussion and TRULY meant no disrespect to her or 
anyone else.” 

Hmm, interesting that Cohen would apologize for his 
opinion--but then again...its all about making the advertisers
happy.....but what we find interesting is for someone who 
exploits the negative behavior of women with the 
Housewives franchises, that he would apologize for 
commenting about the feud. Interesting.

But on the bigger picture, its the Bo Derek syndrome all 
over again where whites incorporates black aesthetics
(i.e. the corn row braid hairstyle) and makes it their own 
or the media's embracing of it.

of his new house?  And again we ask--why do people say its hot outside and its
summer???
