Each of these designers also received $2K from event sponsors.


EDITORS NOTE: Overall this event was a different approach from previous competitions where the designer's lines are spotlighted with a respective fashion show. This year it was a Shark-Tank concept where the designers talked to the judges about how they got started in fashion and their hopes to accomplish with their careers. The ambience was very chic and the venue itself was quite fashionable in itself especially the staircase. Patrons were also given the opportunity to get drawings done of themselves.

NOTE: More than 600 people attended this upscale event where some of the STL's power movers and shakers attended as well as were awarded.  From the violinist to the Proclamation presentation, the event  was well coordinated and produced. This event, in its second year, is quickly becoming one of the upscale social networking events for the city of St Louis. Other awardees included Slim of Loosecannon, radio personality Jade Harrell, photographer Rob Ruger/Ethno Society, event producers Rhashad Wittier and Eddie Holman, to name a few.
