The 4th Annual Mista Couture Charity Style Contest, under his production company, Ma’atology Productions, is set! This year, gents from across the country will compete for the title of “who got style” for the title of Mr. Couture 2013 as well the Audience’s Choice, the Popular Vote Winner.
Some of the celebrities scheduled to
make an appearance will be “Bad Girls Club’s” Portia Beaman and former NBA
player Jeff Sanders

Also making an appearance will be “Project
Runway” finalist Kimberly Goldson who will be one of the judges at the event.
Hosting this year’s show will be former “American Idol” finalist Aloha Mi’sho and “Welcome to Sweetie Pies” star Jr Dot.
Scheduled as judges will be actress/playwright Chrys Yvette , award winning
photographer Wiley Price and Tan Hollywood of TanHollyood Inc Celebrity
Bookings and Swag Bags.
This year, the show will benefit two
organizations: Makeover for a Cause, a non-for-profit organization formed by
NYC native/St Louis based fashion designer Ola Hawatmeh (PICTURED with 2012 MR COUTURE WINNER Ryan Mitchell) , that caters to women
and children living with cancer and/or domestic violence and Poor Souls
Society, a St Louis artist consortium that gives artists in the St Louis area
an outlet to perform their talents for free.
The event will take
place Sunday, August 26 at the Old North St. Louis Restoration Group, located
at 2700
N 14th Street St. Louis Avenue Montgomery Street 5p.m. and culminating with the show at 8 p.m. Donations will be highly suggested at the
door with parts of the proceeds going toward the aforementioned charities.
Additionally there
will be a vending area where vendors will sell their items, an in-house
sketcher of portraits, a photo shoot area and a raffle drawing for various
prizes.
