FIRST UP WAS TIMO WEILAND

Susan Sherman of St Louis Fashion Fund says a few words about the fund as Alive
Magazine's Elizabeth Tucker looks on.  The fund awarded $15,000 to the winner
of the Emerging Artist Contest that was held Wednesday at the same venue.

Joining them was the winner NYC's Daniella Kallmeyer.

NOTE: Over 1,000 people attended this event which was the same number from Wednesday's show in the same venue. This show really gave a sense of New York with its makeshift runway which was part of the venue's white marble floor. They also had a picture booth for patrons to take pics, and many samples of appetizers, veggies and cocktails.  The after party was quaint, with a London calling pub feel (and kudos to the chef who made the salmon for patrions to taste). Also spotted were Atillio D'Agastino of Corridor 40, Mary Clarke of Mother Model Management,  and STL TV's Gilberto Pinella,

GENTS IF YOU HAVE STYLE AND A GREAT PERSONALITY, WE ARE LOOKING  FOR YOU!  THE MISTA COUTURE CONTEST IS AN ANNUAL MENS STYLE  CONTEST WHERE GENTS COMPETE IN VARIOUS STYLE LOOKS FORTHE TITLE OF MR COUTURE. THE WINNER WILL RECEIVE A CASH PRIZE

(TBD ON DAY OF SHOW), A PHOTO SHOOT, A STYLE RING, PUBLIC APPEARANCES AT VARIOUS FASHION SHOWS,  AND BRAGGING RIGHTS.

NEXT YEARS CONTEST IS SLATED FOR EARLY AUGUST OF NEXT YEAR IN ATLANTA, GA (DATE AND VENUE TBA IN JANUARY), SUBMISSIONS WILL BEGIN NOV.1 UNTIL JAN 15.  (UPDATE: The deadline has been extended to Feb 1, 2015)
