EVENT NOTES: This was a very nice event for a great cause to raise money for April Simpson;s Foundation, April;'s Angels as well as a farewell party to her leaving St Louis after 12 years working as an anchor on Fox 2 News.  Although the crowd was a bit sparse, those who were there definitely had an affinity for Simpson indeed. Also in attendance was St Louis Post Dispatch music writer Kevin C Johnson, and Hazelwood School district administrator Jazell Dailey Thomas.
