Speaking of Vogue, former St Louisan and Grammy 
Award winning singing legend , Tina Turner,graces the 
cover of the April issue of German Vogue. She made
 history  becoming the oldest person to make the cover
 at the age of 73.Turner  reportedly  renounced her U.S.
 citizenship recently to become Swiss after residing in 
Kuesnacht, Zurich since the mid-'90s.  She is also in the 
studio recording the studio album “Beyond 2.”
Congrats are in store for ILLIMOians Curtis Finch of St Louis (LEFT) and Devon Velez (RIGHT) of Chicago who advanced to the Top 10 last week on American Idol and has a spot on the summer tour. This Thursday nite, the public will  choose the Top 9.

Coolfire Productions is on a roll with St Louis based reality shows. Following  their shows "Welcome To Sweetie Pies" and  the upcoming "Resale Royalty" is the third reality show set to hit national TV. Its titled "Funeral Boss" . The show depicts the goings on of the St Louis funeral home, William C. Harris Funeral Home. The show will start airing this Thursday on the Discovery Fit & Health channel. The first season was shot last year in St Louis.




Belleville, Illinois, native Brooks Brantly is part of the production of “War Horse” at the Fox Theatre in St Louis. The show is staged until March 21. For more info go to  warhorseonstage.com

    Excellence Arts & Media Academy in partnership with the Demetrious Johnson Charitable Foundation presents this fictional dramatization of two powerful leaders of the Civil Rights Era, will provide an experience representing the ideals and philosophies on social issues held by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. King’s nonviolent view and X’s “by any means necessary” method gives an angle to an encounter that gives each the opportunity to put the other in “the hot seat.”

    This show is directed by Jeremy L. Granger and produced by the Visionary Team. Executive Producers are Jacob Henderson and Ben Golley
