President Obama filled out an NCAA tournament bracket

like he has done for the past four years. This year,  has

Louisville and Indiana playing in the national title

game... with Indiana coming out on top. ESPN released

previews Tuesday evening showing the President

picking Louisville, Indiana, Florida, and Ohio State as

his Final Four teams.

The queen of talk Oprah Winfrey had gone to Chicago, her former residency, to be a  guest of newly Chicago resident Steve Harvey's top-rated daytime talk show. The sit down with Harvey will air in syndication April 26th. In unrelated Harvey news, he will be hosting BET’s Celebration Of Gospel. The show airs Sunday, April 7th on BET.

Following in his fellow Original Kings of Comedy comedian Steve Harvey on hosting game shows, St Louis bred comedian/actor Cedric The Entertainer will become the new host of long running game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." According to ABC  Cedric the Entertainer will soon replace Meredith Viera .The popular comedian will start hosting the show when it begins its 12th season in syndication this fall.

Chicago native and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson will join Oscar winner  Octavia Spencer for the movie "Call Me Crazy." The movie is about mental illness and will air Saturday, April 20th on the Lifetime channel.

The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that they

were unable to come to a free-agent deal with  veteran

linebacker Brian Urlacher. From reports, Urlacher said

the Bears asked him to make an offer, and that

Urlacher's original proposal was for two years and $11.5

 million.

The Bears reportedly made a one-year, $2 million offer.

 Urlacher reporetdly made a one-year, $3.5 million

counteroffer, according to ESPN's Ed Werder, who

reported the counteroffer included incentives that would

have allowed Urlacher to make an additional $500,000.

"And then they said, 'No, you take this offer or leave it.
Take it or leave it,'" Urlacher said. "It was kind of an
ultimatum. Either sign this or leave. That's the way it
was. They never moved off their initial offer."

It's still up in the air on whether Chicago native and Chicgao Bulls player Derrick Rose will play again. According to reports, Bulls head coach Tom Thibodeau already stated that Rose (ACL surgery) is "most likely out" for Thursday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers and Rose's words confirm that he's no closer to deciding if he'll play or not this season. Rose reportedly participated in a full-court scrimmage Wednesday and has suffered no known setbacks since his hamstrings started tightening up earlier this month.

St Louis native singer Curtis Finch Jr was the first of the Top 10 American Idol singers who were voted off last Thursday prompting him to sing for the judges' save, a safety net that can be used but once a season.
But no safety net was deployed. The elimination came as a surprise to some, including Nicki Minaj, who all but threatened to leave if Finch was sent packing. "If you're going home, I'm going home," she said, and nearly made good on her statement, getting up from the judges table at one point.

After his elimination, Finch made his appearances on the TV show circuit. This week he appeared on “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno where he sang  at each commercial break. He also made appearances on  “Today" and  "Access Hollywood."

From reports, while on tour in St. Louis, Grammy Award winning country artist Taylor Swift recently brought out a hometown hero at the Scottrade Center. She surprised the crowd as she called out rap mogul Nelly to perform his hit, "Hey Porshce."
"I mostly think of the fact that one of my favourite artists is from here," Swift announced. What would you say if I told you that Nelly is here?". At this point the crowd probably screamed and flapped about quite a bit, we'd imagine. And this is what happened next.

This week we feature St Louis radio personality Tammie Holland who's sporting a newly cropped blonde do one her most daring styles to don her tresses--and she pulls it off. She can be heard weekdays with Tony Scott on the Tony Scott Show on Majic 100.3. We also highlight STL trio Mo Tre, who is sporting dapper white suits with red ties and shiney blue vests and yellow pocket squares. The group who recently won a Traffic Music Award for R&B artist have been on the performance grind for a minute and are promoting their newest single, "Supaman."
