OBAMA WHO WILL CELEBRATE ON

Mr Obama kicked off his birthday weekend
with a round of golf today, Saturday and
planned to
spend time with friends at Camp David.
Obama, who turns 52 on Sunday, left the
White House unusually early for the half-hour
trip by motorcade to Andrews Air Force Base
in Maryland to squeeze in some golf before the
celebration was to shift to the presidential
retreat.
Former Chicagoan Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable station has
made a turnaround
in the ratings and its revenue. According to Patty 411.com,

Butler opens in theatres August 16th,
and is the true story of

Chicago native designer Kate Pankoke is getting
something
most Project Runway designers don't -- a second chance.
As part of a new twist
introduced this season -- dubbed
"Runway Redemption" -- viewers got
to vote which of thee
former competitors would return.
Pankoke, a 24-year-old
from Chicago
on season 11, beat
out
season eight's Valerie Mayen and season six's
Lawrence Coleman for the honor,
as revealed in last
week's season 12 premiere.
During her original
season -- the show's first "teams"
edition -- Pankoke was sent home
during a
unconventional challenge that called for the
designers to create a
prom dress out of duct tape.
In a surprising double elimination, both Pankoke
and
her teammate Tu Suthiwat Nakchat were sent home.
Theres is also another Chicagoan on the show

Mateene, who is originally from
STL based event promoter Loosecannon Slim made his reality show debut last week on the third season of the docudrama show WELCOME
TO SWEETIE PIES.
From reports, a judge
in St. Louis County
Merle Silverstein, Conner's attorney,
said St. Louis
County Circuit Judge Kristine Kerr denied the
temporary restraining order against the clause, and
ordered Conners and the
station to appear in court on
Sept. 3.
Last month, Conners
wrote on Facebook that he had
a potential television job in St. Louis, but said
he could
not pursue it because of the clause in his contract with
KMOV.Conners,
66, was fired May 21 after spending
37 years in St. Louis television — the
last 27 as an
anchor at KMOV.
The dismissal came
after a series of events that
began when Conners implied in a May 13 Facebook
post that he may have been targeted by the IRS
after interviewing
President Barack Obama in 2012. The IRS claims Conners and
his wife, Janet L.
Conners, owe more than
$85,000 from 2008, 2009 and 2010.
Conners also has a
pending allegation of age discrimination before the Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission.

STL based playwright/producer Chrys Yvette just wrapped the filming her
first movie HAPPY HOUR that she directed. It was filmed at Paragon Theatre in
Midtown St Louis.
The film stars her and comedians STLnative Guy Torry and Dannon
Green with a
special appearance by Murphy Lee and Kyjuan of the
St Lunatics (YOURS TRULY also
assisted the director in the project). The film

This week we feature STL based singer Aloha who changed up her glam look recently when she
performed at Cafe Soul at The Pageant. She sported long dookey braids, a black sports cap, army
fatigue jacket, a Janet tee, and spandex. If we had to give the look a name we, would say,
B-girl chic.
