Chicago reared rap superstar Kanye West contributed a few lines to Future's new, Auto-tune-enhanced slow rap "I Won" – which just came online this week.
Ye used his bars to pay tribute, to his fiancée, Kim Kardashian. Beyond calling the reality TV star the "number one trophy wife," he repeatedly rapped, "I wanna dip that ass in gold."
Referring to his "Bound 2" video – in which the naked Kardashian straddled a motorcycle facing him – he erred toward the lurid: "On that 'Bound' bike, I gave you only pipe/ If people don't hate then it won't be right."
He called their daughter, North, an "angel in that ultrasound" and he referred to her engagement ring as a "glacier."
He alluded to Kardashian's exes by saying he "made it over" NBA and NFL players, "so every time I score, it's like the Super Bowl."
But his most unabashed expression of excitement over his impending nuptials comes out in a line about the Kardashians as a family: "You could look at Kylie, Kendall, Kourtney and Khloé, all your mama ever made was trophies, right?"
All we can say is, Kanye is using the media hype machine to the fullest....and thats nothing surprising coming from him....and we are sure Future is loving every minute of it giving him more exposure for his upcoming album.
St Jospeh, Mo born rap superstar Eminem and director Spike Lee are teaming up on a new video. The rapper revealed recently that Lee is working with him in his bred city Detroit on the video for "Headlights," the fifth single off The Marshall Mathers LP2.
Eminem spread the news by tweeting out a photo of himself with Lee (PICTURED), writing "Spike came out to The D for the "Headlights" video. . . . Coming soon." Later that day, Spike Lee sent out the same photo, with the caption "Detroit's Finest EMINEM And Me Working Together On His Short a Film.Historic. Who Woulda Thunk It."
"Headlights," details Eminem;;s apologizes to his mother, Debbie Mathers, and describes his feelings of "overwhelming sadness" as he watched her drive away after their last meeting.
This is a very interesting pairing.....we are surprised this collabo hasnt happened long ago....Lee is all smiles in the pic....guess he needs the come up, for he hasnt been in the spotlight in a long while regarding directing.
A St Louis free lance writer's article on a blues legend went viral and national.....Freelance writer Daniek Durcholz has gotten attention for a review he wrote that was published last week in the St Louis Post Dispatch about the BB King concert held at the Peabody Opera House. In the article, Durcholz appeased the legend by not criticizing harshly about King's reported lackluster show which led many concertgoers to heckle and boo the blues legend,
Durcholz wrote: " Make no mistake: King is a living legend, a national treasure, and the sobriquet “king of the blues” is not mere wordplay, but a title earned. To be in the same room as him and breathe the same air is an honor and a privilege. But for the majority of King’s concert at the Peabody Opera House on Friday night, the sizeable crowd could have been excused for thinking that’s all they were going to get."
He went on to write, "It was 45 minutes into the show before King performed anything resembling a song. Even then, his playing was shaky. He explained that he and the band had been off for two months, causing him to lose confidence.
After a capable run-through of “Rock Me Baby,” he played “You Are My Sunshine” and asked the crowd to sing along. The house lights came up and King began noticing individuals and waving to them. As the song went around again and again, nattering on for — and this is not a misprint — 15 minutes, audience members began to heckle, yelling out requests or simply calling for King to “play some music!” Some walked out.
He also went on to write that most of King's show sin recent years have been more talking than playing as the 88 year old is "obviously slowing down."
Below are reported quotes from those who attended:
"Is he a living legend? Absolutely. Do I love his music? You bet," said digital marketing executive Larry Goldstein, who paid $150 for a pair of tickets plus parking. "But when you're paying that type of money, you expect to see a show."
Bob Johnson, a retired IRS agent who attended the St. Louis concert with his adult daughter, said the dissatisfied audience members were trying to encourage King more than criticize him, suggesting specific song titles or urging him to "Play some music" during the long interludes.
"Everybody was trying to be respectful that this guy is 88 years old," he said. "It was painful to watch."
Our opinion is, what do you expect from a performer who is almost 90 years old? Cartwheels and somersaults? We think its up to BB King's business people to decide whether or not to pull the plug and let his legacy resonate as he retires. No one is going to come to shows and get a lackluster show....and now with this article going viral, we think it may be a good idea to start now.
Blue Springs, Mo singer/songwriter David Cook returned to his home base of American Idol this week (He was the shows Season 7 winner) to mentor the top 8 finalists on ‘80s night, Cook brought a perspective for the contestants on how to perform on live television and what it’s like to be going through the crazy process.
Entertainment Weekly interviewed him about his return on Idol and he said,
"([It was] oddly less stressful, I enjoyed coming out and not worrying if my voice was going to crack and all that stuff. I was unsure going in what the vibe was going to be like, the contestants’ vibes can be a little different. But the contestants this year were great, they were very open to learning.... I did my work going in and the thing that I noticed is that they all have all the tools, but maybe just don’t know how to use them all. It made my job really easy, I have to say. Fox and Idol both made me look pretty good.
He was quite good mentoring the contestants....we wouldnt be surprised if he is considered becoming a judge next season.
Chicago native personality Mr. T was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame recently. T, who became involved in wrestling in 1985 when he was Hulk Hogan's tag-team partner at the first ever WrestleMania event - was reportedly honored alongside wrestling greats at the ceremony in New Orleans.
He was reportedly inducted by iconic WWE announcer Mean Gene Okerlund and used his acceptance speech to pay a heartfelt tribute to his mother.
Taking to the stage at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Mr. T reportedly described the occasion as an "honor" not only to be entered into the Hall of Fame, but to praise his mother for all she did for him.
He said: "Tonight, as you honor me along with the other Hall of Famers, please allow me to honor and pay tribute to my dear mother, who I love so very much."
He added: "Now, my story and background is not that unique. My upbringing is not so different from many others. But who knows?
"Somebody might be inspired and maybe so wayward teenager just might find his way back home.
"That's why I want to talk about my mother. I thank god for my mother - because I have seven brothers and four sisters, and my mother raised all of us by herself."
Two of the remaining contestants on this seasons The Voice are from the St. Louis-area. They are Granite City, Ill native Tess Boyer and Festus, Mo native Patrick Thomson. They advance in the playoffs rounds which began April 8, but they will perform April 14 and 15.
According to the St L:ouis Cardinals website, Opening day at Busch Stadium was a success despite the ongoing rain......although rain cancelled an appearance by the famed Budweiser Clydesdales, the Cardinals' home opener festivities otherwise went on as scheduled before Monday's 5-3 win over Cincinnati.
The weather reportedly cooperated enough for the Cardinals' seven living Hall of Famers -- including the most recent inductee, Tony La Russa -- and members of the 2014 club to be introduced via motorcade before first pitch. A steady light rain fell on them as they lined the field and later watched the 2013 National League champions banner be hoisted up a pole in left-center field.
The Cardinals reportedly had Mike Shannon, Danny Cox and Jim Edmonds carry out league championship trophies of the team's past before general manager John Mozeliak presented the one won in '13.
The crowd reportedly saved one of its biggest ovations for Chris Carpenter, who brought his two children to the mound for a ceremonial first pitch. Mike Matheny caught the pitch.

FOOD BITEZ
In the news, it was reported that bacon will be going up in price because of the pig virus that has been discovered.
This week we feature bacon.
Bacon is a meat product prepared from a pig and usually cured.[1][2] It is first cured using large quantities of salt,[2] either in a brine or in a dry packing; the result is fresh bacon (also known as green bacon).[3] Fresh bacon may then be further dried for weeks or months in cold air, or it may be boiled or smoked.[1] Fresh and dried bacon is typically cooked before eating. Boiled bacon is ready to eat, as is some smoked bacon, but may be cooked further before eating.
Bacon is prepared from several different cuts of meat. It is usually made from side and back cuts of pork,[4] except in the United States, where it is almost always prepared from pork belly (typically referred to as "streaky", "fatty", or "American style" outside of the US and Canada). The side cut has more meat and less fat than the belly. Bacon may be prepared from either of two distinct back cuts: fatback, which is almost pure fat, and pork loin, which is very lean. Bacon-cured pork loin is known as back bacon.
A side of unsliced bacon was once known as a 'flitch';[35] it is now known as a 'slab'.[36] An individual rasher of bacon is known as a 'slice' or 'strip'. The term 'rasher of bacon' is occasionally encountered (e.g., on restaurant menus) to mean a serving of bacon (typically several slices).[4]
Bacon may be eaten smoked, boiled, fried, baked, or grilled, or used as a minor ingredient to flavour dishes. Bacon is also used forbarding and larding roasts, especially game, including venison and pheasant. The word is derived from the Old High German bacho, meaning "buttock", "ham" or "side of bacon", and cognate with the Old French bacon.[5][6]
American bacons include varieties smoked with hickory or corncobs and flavourings such as red pepper, maple, brown sugar, honey, molasses, and occasionally cinnamon. They vary in sweetness and saltiness and come from the Ozarks, New England, and the upper South (mainly Kentucky, North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia).[37]
- The term 'bacon' on its own generally refers to strip bacon from the belly meat of the pig, which is the most popular type of bacon sold in the US.
This week we feature St Louisan Daisha Sherre who is rockin the red colored "locks in a bun", tattered overalls and pumps in a very sexy and tasteful way. This insurance agent would definitely turn heads in her office with this number!

Why does it seem as though Oscar Pistorius is using crying to get sympathy for killing his girlfriend?, Why was the Google Glass company trying to trademark the word "glass?", Why was Cher wearing heart shaped pasties while in concert recently? Why did Kenya Moore allegdely fake her dog;s death on the Housewives of ATL show? And why does Fair St Louis keep bringing in Musiq Soulchild as the R&B act almost every other year?
