OK NOW TO THE BITZ THIS WEEK
Everyone who are Cam Newton haters are still talking about
his now infamous walking off during his press conference
after losing the Superbowl against the Denver Broncos. The
debate is whether he didnt act sportsmanlike for doing such
gesture and was a sore loser. Well, the incident caused the
budding superstar to call another press conference a couple
of days after the Superbowl to explain himself.
He said:“I've been on record to say ‘I'm a sore loser,‘” Newton said. “Who likes to lose? Show me a good loser and I'm going to show you a loser. It's not a popularity contest. I'm here to win football games for this organization, for Mr. Richardson, for my teammates and for what it's worth, my fans. They know it's real. I leave everything else on the field. I prepare the right way. I have a mentality, I have a standard that I set for myself.”
Well, we can agree with Cam that it was his right to do what he felt at the time, but he has to realize that all eyez are on him especially with him being a black quarterback which is a oxymoron of sorts because the position is mainly geared toward white players and it involves being a "thinker" as opposed to being a running back and being a physical player.
Then, it was brought up when current Superbowl winning quarterback Payton Manning had the same unsportsmanlike behavior when he was playing for the Baltimore Colts and lost against the New Orleans Saints in Super Bowl XLIV. Manning chose not to participate in a postgame handshake with the Saints. Manning didntshake hands with Drew Brees Sean Payton or anyone else. Instead, Manning made a bee line for the Colts' locker room. It was called by critics as him just being into the game. But Newton was called "boyish" and immature for his behavior.
Should Newton have handled it better. You bet. But its all
about growing from your experiences and this was a major
experience for Newton, his first time at The Big Game. We
are sure his family and friends have assured Newton of his
actions and that they are much bigger for him because of the
color of his skin.
Well, at least he had former NFL quarterback Arthur Manning
to support his actions---DAB ON CAM!

And speaking of the Superbowl, the Halftime show drew
some talk especially when Beyonce performed her newest
iconic song, "Formation" with a bevy of dark skinned black
women wearing Afros, black berets and black unitards.
Many felt her performance was anti-white people with the
homage to the Black Panthers. But with the Beyhive
swarming about we are sure the message of Black Power
was usurped by the fact it was Beyonce performing. She
along with Bruno Mars stole the show from Chris Martin and
Coldplay whose psychedelic LGBT friendly set was a bit
snoozy until the funk of Mars and formation of Bey
resurrected the set. And now anti-Beyoncers are planning to
protest the NFL for her performance which they felt was
offensive to the mainstream (Are we harking back to Nipple
Gate with Janet Jackson and censorship with the
FCC?)....Do they have better things to do than to protest this
rather than say protest, say, GOP candidate Donald Trump
who has said divisive narrative about anyone who wasnt
white and established? Its called freedom of expression. And
we are sure Beyonce isnt fretting over her expression
because thats more COIN in her purse!

And speaking of Formation, Beyonce pulled another
sneaklease when the video for Formation was listed on
TIDAL for streamers to cop before it was shared to other
social media sites. The video which gives images of New
Orleans culture focuses on the Black Lives Matter motif and
the Hurricane Katrina disaster. Along with the social
messages, Bey added her now Queen Ratchetness with it
involving hot sauce in purses, taking her boo to Red Lobster
after good sex and creating bamas from mixing Negro and
Creole. And what you have is a gumbo of
pop melange. But of course, involving all these components,
controversy will follow. Led by former Mayor Rudy Guiliani
who went on air to say that the video was anti-police with the
Hands Up Dont Shoot in reverse when the cops raise their
hands in front of black boy and the spraypainted Stop
Shooting Us on a nearby fence. So Beyonce is the reason
and cause of the police shooting young black people?
Guiliani have several seats.
As far as the song itself, its ok. But its the lyrics and video
that are the hit!

Superstar rapper Kanye West will finally release his long
awaited followup to his 2014 CD "Yeezus"on TIDAL that is
now called The Life of Pablo (formerly known as Waves and
formerly known as Swish) this Friday But early reports
described T.L.O.P. as decidedly more gospel than anything
Kanye has previously produced. JEZEBEL reports that
guest stars include Rihanna, the Weeknd, Chance the
Rapper, and Frank Ocean.
It's safe to say he's not holding back.
Apparently, T.L.O.P. also features lyrics that boast about how
great Kanye is (as per usual). One such reported line is
seemingly targeted at Taylor Swift: "I feel like me and Taylor
might have sex. I made that bitch famous." (And, no, this
doesn't really make sense, seeing as Swift was an
enormously successful pop star who'd just won the a VMA
for Best Female Video when Kanye interrupted her speech,
but who am I to point out logic holes in Kanye West's
reality?)

Also for Kanye fans those who had a chance to view Season Three Yeezy's fashion line at New York Fashion Week with a lavish two-hour event that confused the hell out of everyone who wasn't physically inside Madison Square Garden with him.
Jay Z's streaming service Tidal was set to host a free live stream of Kanye's event on February 11 at 4 pm EST. Kanye also sold tickets for people to watch the event in movie theaters across the country, which in the end was a much more reliable bet. According to VOX, Once the show began, the Tidal live stream almost immediately buckled under the immense traffic from Kanye's curious fan base and/or haters.
For those who were either inside Madison Square Garden to
witness the show live ,
at a Kanye-approved movie theater, or lucky enough to get
the live stream working in fits and spurts, the Yeezy show
was one of the most elaborate and bizarre events Kanye's
ever put together.

Kanye had strict instructions for the models debuting Yeezy
season three, probably because he wants people to take the
fashion line more seriously. But now that the following
document is public, that seems unlikely:

document is public, that seems unlikely:
According to Twitter accounts by people who attended the T.L.O.P. event, the models did as they were told and stood still — or close to it — throughout the entire two-hour show.
Kanye then praised Adidas — which helped produce the
Yeezy 3 fashion line — and delivered some sharp
words about Nike, which the crowd took up in a blunt chant:
"Fuck Nike!" (Kanye did, however, stipulate that no one could
speak ill of longtime Nike spokesperson Michael Jordan.)

In the evening's most startling moment, Kanye took a break
from the music to play a trailer for a video game called
"Only One," which he said was about his late mother Donda
West "traveling through the gates of heaven."

By all accounts, the T.L.O.P. event was a total smorgasbord of music, fashion, ego, and more ego.
We are surprised that the passing of the tainted Kool Aid wasnt passed around as well. LOL

The new honorees were reportedly chosen from a list of 18 finalists who had been determined earlier by the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Selection Committee. Five nominees were eliminated in the final vote: players Terrell Davis, Joe Jacoby, John Lynch and Kurt Warner, and coach Don Coryell.
Earlier in the week, the selection committee reduced the list of 15 modern-day finalists by cutting Terrell Owens, Edgerrin James, Steve Atwater, Alan Faneca and Morten Anderson.
The Class of 2016 were introduced during "NFL Honors," a two-hour primetime awards special on CBS.
The new honorees will be formally enshrined on Saturday, Aug. 6 in Canton.
Last Sunday St Louis based personal trainer and author Arthur Shivers popped the question to his girlfriend Welcome to Sweetie Pies star Jenae Wallick during his weekly fitness segment on Fox 2 St Louis,. Her reaction was priceless. Check out the segment below:
Singer and videographer Pascal is coming to ABC TV (Channel 30-KDNL)in St Louis late Saturday/early Sundays starting this weekend with a hilarious comedy bit show with interviews, and shorts called "Late Night With Pascal."
The LGBTQ community in St Louis will soon have another
spot to get their club on. OUTSTAGN got word that the
building that used to be the old Complex at 3515 Chouteau
Ave will soon be open with another club for that community.
We hear they were currently interviewing looking for
bartenders, cooks, servers (of food that is LOL), bouncers
and various personnel for this upscale venue that will be
called The Spectrum.

Renowned photographer Steven Williams launched his first
book Shades of Color. It is a photo series of men of color
capturing the beauty, spirit, and humanity with empowering
imagery. This book is about diversity, and what we don't see
in a world of color lines. He hopes to begin a new trend in
empowering the future of men and women of color. If you
want to place your order or donate, he have launched an
Indiegogo to fund this series. There will be many perks and
pleasures along the way. For more info go to

.
WORD TO THE WHYZ????
Why did that white lady from Fox News say that Beyonce's SuperBowl performance was a disgrace to white girls? And why did former NYC mayor Rudi Guiliani say that Beyonce;s video for Formation was Anti Police (Does he even watch music videos or even know she had a video out beforehand)? Why were the Superbowl commericals so lame? And why are teh Super Bowl ads shown on Internet weeks before the SuperBowl airs? Why did Bill Romanowski call Cam Newton a boy after his leaving the Super Bowl press conference abruptly? Why does it seem women hate Hilary Clinton? Why is Jason Derulo pulling a Dangelo "How Does it Feel" in his latest video? Why was Nick Cannon and Stevie J fighting on the set of Wilding Out ? Why are the indiscretions of Derek Fisher now coming out after he got fired as the head coach of the New York Knicks? Why was Lou Gossett Jr dressed like a pimp at the NAACp Image Awards red carpet? Why did singer Tank reveal on the Breakfast Club radio show recently that he likes to get his salad tossed? And why do people say its cold outside when its Winter time?
If you have a fitness pic, a style pic or an artist or event you
would like featured on SPOT BITZ, email to
