THE TOP ILLI-MO STORY THIS WEEK IS:
This week The New York Times broke a story of the Houston Astros experienced a computer hacking of its database from an alleged hacker in the St Louis Cardinals organization.

According to stloday.com, St. Louis Cardinals Chairman Bill DeWitt Jr. said Thursday that he had no knowledge of any hacking into a Houston Astros’ internal database, either before or after it occurred.
“There was zero knowledge until the FBI launched their investigation and we became aware of it,” DeWitt said.
Cardinals general manager John Mozeliak said essentially the same thing on Wednesday in Minneapolis, where the club was playing the Twins, as did a lawyer for the Cardinals.
DeWitt, reading from handwritten notes in a news conference Thursday afternoon, declined to go into specifics of the investigation — either the FBI’s or the Cardinals’ internal probe that started over a month after the Cardinals learned of the FBI’s probe.
But he said that he was “shocked,” “stunned” and “in disbelief” when he learned of the investigation sometime in January or February of this year.
Since the New York Times broke the story Tuesday morning, the Houston Chronicle has reported that the Astros experienced security breaches in 2013 and in 2014.
according to the same report, internal memos and trade discussions from the Astros proprietary baseball operations database, dubbed “Ground Control,” were posted to a hacker site and a link was emailed to Deadspin.com in June 2014, which ran an article two days later.
At the time, the Astros said that they had become aware of the leak in May.
Federal agents traced the entry point for the second breach to a computer in Jupiter, Fla., at a place where several Cardinals employees resided during spring training in 2014.
DeWitt  said that if the hacking involved Cardinals employees, he didn’t know the extent of the involvement or how many employees might have been involved and  statement that the team has been “very cooperative with the investigation,” and has turned over “lots of material,” although he declined to detail that material.
Both DeWitt and Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow, in an interview with Sports Illustrated Wednesday, rejected any claims of bad blood created when Luhnow left the Cardinals.
Luhnow was hired by the Cardinals in 2003 to build a database for player evaluations. He was hired by the Astros in December 2011.
Luhnow also called any claim that poor password practices contributed to the hacking “absolutely false,” saying he was well aware of the importance of updated passwords.
Luhnow denied taking any proprietary information from the Cardinals when he left, and said he was “very aware of intellectual property and the agreements I signed.”
DeWitt expressed confidence that the team would weather the storm and said that the team’s sponsors had not expressed concerns. Mozeliak said that most of the correspondence he has received from other teams has been supportive.

WOW this  is major. Even if the organization does find who is the culprit in the hacking, the Cards image as the America's Ball Team has been tarnished.

The trailer for the late Robin Williams' last dramatic onscreen

performance has been released, and it tugs at the

 heartstrings.

In Boulevard, the Chicago native actor plays a lonely man

trapped by his monotonous life and crumbling marriage

. After a chance encounter with a young hitchhiker, Williams'

character begins to climb out of his rut and turn his life

 around.

"This is one of the kindest characters Williams has ever

played, which makes his self-imposed turmoil – the

consequence of not wanting to hurt anyone, least of all his

wife – all the more tragic," film critic Peter Debruge wrote

in Varietywhen the film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last year.

"Tapping into that same loneliness felt in One Hour

Photo and Good Will Hunting, the actor projects a regret so

deep and identifiable, viewers should have no trouble

connecting it to whatever is missing in their own lives –

whether those regrets are romantic, sexual, professional or

 spiritual."
The movie is Williams' final onscreen performance, wrapping

before he committed suicide last August.

Boulevard, which also stars Berwyn, Ill native Bob

Odenkirk and Kathy Baker, is set to hit theaters July 10.

Filming has begun for the Ghostbusters reboot in Boston, which is set to hit theaters in 2016, and there's already a few pictures from the set from the first day of shooting. People Magazine had a couple of shots of the stars of the film in their wardrobe for the film. One was with Plainfield, Ill native Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon walking around and McCarthy holding a piece of machinery, while McKinnon has some large bag strapped to her back.

For the first time in 77 years, Chicago Blackhawks fans saw their hockey heroes win the Stanley Cup on home ice last Saturday wining over The Lightning 2-1 in Game 6 and winning their third cup in 10 years.

West and Adidas are back with a new twist on the Yeezy

sneaker: the Yeezy Boost 350. The trainer shoe is equipped

with Adidas Primeknit—a breakthrough material developed

to fit like a second skin.
The Boost is priced at $200 and hits stores globally on June 27
Wonder when the knockoffs will be on the streets. LOL

ADD: St Louis native Phylis Smith stars in the Pixar release Inside Out  playing the character Sad.  The film takes place, literally, inside the mind of 11-year-old Riley, as her five basic emotions—Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Anger, and Fear—work together to get her through the trauma of moving to a new town and school. The film opens nationwide today, Friday.

Former Blues coach John Kirwan has endorsed Tana Umaga to succeed him as Blues head coach after announcing his resignation.
In a Friday morning press conference, Kirwan announced his decision to step down as coach saying he "totally loves this club", but understood in the best interests of the Super Rugby franchise it was best for him to step down.
He said it was a "results-based industry" and "when you're a coach you are here to bring results and I didn't bring those and I always said to fans and players that if I'm not delivering that then it's right that I step aside".
Speculation has mounted about his successor amid reports former All Blacks captain Tana Umaga will take over the job for the next three years. Kirwan endorsed him as a great choice to take on the Blues role.
"I think Tana is an outstanding young man," Kirwan said.
"He has a similar pathway to me, he is a guy who I think would be one of the candidates who would be fantastic for here. He is from the wider region, he is a good man."
The Tom Joyner Morning Show crew Joyner, Jay Anthony Brown and Sybil Wilkes made it to St Louis for its two-day visit this week on their bus tour of various cities.
On Wednesday, they dropped by Elmo's Love Lounge in University, Mo this week as part of its bus tour across several cities. They met and greeted fans there as Dirty Muggs performed afterwards. Then on Thursday, the crew had lunch with fans at II Rest Bar and Grille. Later this week they visited Kansas City, Mo, its last leg of its bus tour,

FIT BITZ

Here are this week's female and male in the ILLI MO area who are
extremely fit, have fitness model quality and have post their
fitness pics  on social media.

To celebrate the beginning of Summer June 21, we have two fit people who got their summer fits going on. One is rap artist Penelope Jones and the other is fitness buff Torre Finley

This week we feature STL based spoken word poet X Blu Reign who is rocking the frizzy blue dyed Afro.  You can check her look when she opens up for the Floetry reunion concert  that will take place this Friday at The Pageant in the Central West End in St Louis.

Why are some folk saying the killings at that South Carolina church wasnt terrorism or a hate crime? And why werent the prayer meeters suspicious about him sitting with them for an hour? Why did Donald Trump call Mexicans rapists during his announcement of being a Presidential candidate? And why did he saw he wants Oprah to be his running mate? And why did he pay people 50 bucks each to cheer during his press conference? Why is Rachel Dolizal now saying her white parents werent her real parents? And why are people calling her trans-racial and comparing her to transexual Caitlyn?  Why is Tom Hanks son think he can get away with saying n*gga in his rap lyrics? Why is Peter Thomas denying his kissing a female employee on the leaked Instagram video? And why do some people look around at people when they talk loud on their cell phones in public?
