installment of the Batman and Superman franchise with
Batman v Spiderman: Dawn of Justice raking in $170 million last weekend. It was the biggest March opening in history overtaking “The Hunger Games,” which opened to $152.5 million in 2012.It also was the film's biggest opening for either a Batman or Superman film.

But the big newz was that the film was showered with negative reviews before its national opening.
One reviewer said , “Tough reviews are unlikely to hurt the film short-term as fans will want to see it in order to form their own opinion. In the long-term the only reviews that will matter are those by the collective fan base who are truly vested in these characters and the legacy of DC.”
And that rings true. Despite bad reviews, if die hard fans wants to make a film a success, they will go to the theater to see it.
Bey has been spotted on multiple occasions filming... Well, we don't know. She shot something at the Superdome in New Orleans. She jumped off a building in downtown L.A. as cameras rolled. And then there's the matter of her Vevo account, which boasts 120 videos, but only 102 are visible. That's 18 clips unaccounted for. Beyhivers are speculating another visual album akin to her Grammy nominated 2013 self titled album. Beyhivers are feeling a surprise visual album that she may release this weekend as a Tidal exclusive. Then it will hit iTunes. Then, she is set to launch an active wear line for women April 14. Bey reportedly announced the 2016 spring/summer collection called Ivy Park on Thursday. It’s a collaboration with Sir Philip Green.
Well guess all Beyhivers will be awaiting with bated breath with credit card in hand this weekend for the album--or will it be a full April Fool Weekend.
Fox’s “Empire” has proven it’s the rare show strong enough to survive a lengthy midseason hiatus, returning Wednesday with surprisingly robust numbers that towered over everything else on the night.
In final nationals from Nielsen, “Empire” was revised upward to a 4.8 rating/15 share in adults 18-49 and 12.45 million total viewers — matching the show’s top demo score for its final seven episodes last fall and its largest total-viewer count since that third episode on Oct. 7 (13.10 million).
Wednesday's Spring premiere result out-rated the final five hours of the show’s 10-episode run last fall, and is its best results since Oct. 21 (4.8/15 in 18-49, 12.3 million viewers overall); its fall finale on Dec. 2 averaged a 4.5 in 18-49 and 11.8 million total viewers. The show’s peak remains its first-season finale in March of last year (6.9/21 in 18-49 and 17.6 million total viewers).
“Empire” was easily the most popular Wednesday television series on Twitter, according to Nielsen Social. An estimated 2.66 million people saw one or more of the 471,000 tweets sent about last night’s episode.
Angela Yee is responding to critics after K. Michelle dragged her on “The Breakfast Club.”On March 29, K Michelle dropped by the syndicated radio show to promote her upcoming project, More Issues Than Vogue. And then all went haywire. Apparently, she had on her mind regarding some instigating comments the co-host made about her private parts during an interview with Maino and Uncle Murda a week prior.
“You’re a woman and I think I’ve been very cool and very supportive of you,” K. Michelle said to Yee. “The interview was over and the credits were running. You brought that back up. And the thing about that is, I know you want ratings, but you are a woman. And no woman wants a body. And no woman wants nothing like that on them. So they wasn’t even talking about that. You brought that back up. ”
“You brought that up and then you was [sic] being all instigating,” continued Michelle. “When he said he was gonna sleep with me, you was like, ‘Ew, you nasty. You sat there and chuckled,” she says. “You did that and you don’t know what that might have done to me.
“You have to do a job, but maybe before you open your mouth when you do your job, you should look at the time. You was at my listening party. You knew that album was coming out. You know how the media attacks me. So you know any negative headline that they can put up about me to overshadow my music is what they do.”
Meanwhile, Yee is standing by her actions, alluding to the notion that Michelle only popped off for the cameras. “No one will bait me into an argument when those ‘Love & Hip Hop’ cameras are rolling.”
Here's our thing. K Michelle is notorious for turning up on reality TV and now that she is back on reality TV and cameras rolling then she had to take it to the next level for it to be "real." We all know that the Breakfast Club has a rep to be invasive when it comes to getting the truth from their guests, so it shouldnt have been that surprising what Yee asked Maino about Michelle. Its enough that we see black women on reality TV clapping back at each other (and Michelle is the queen of it on TV and on Twitter) and good for Yee to not respond the way Michelle wanted her to do for Michelle's ratings.

Trader Joes patrons got tricked into thinking that the grocery chain was going to close. Yahoo! News published a story Thursday afternoon titled "Trader Joe’s to Close All Stores by 2017, Plans to Discontinue Products."
Soon after, people lost their minds. Below are some of the quites from the Internet:
Apparently, few got to the bottom of the story, which read "If this shocking news hits you as hard as it hit me, fear not. It’s merely April Fools’ time. Now go celebrate being a fool with your favorite cheap wine."
The Edward Jones Dome, the former home of the St Louis Rams, has a new name. The St. Louis Convention & Visitors Commission, which runs the facility, has reportedly decided that the former home of the St. Louis Rams on Friday becomes “The Dome at America’s Center.”
From reports, in January, National Football League owners approved the Rams’ move to Los Angeles. In February, Edward Jones, the giant financial services company, sent termination letters canceling its naming rights contract with the Rams and the facility.
The contract was signed in 2002. The firm paid more than $32 million over 14 years for the rights.
The company paid the Rams directly; the convention commission, a public agency, received no cut.
Now its all about how the venue will be used now that its biggest money maker , The St Louis Rams, are no longer there.
The opening of The National Blues Museum is scheduled to open on April 2 located downtown St Louis, 615 Washington Ave. For more info go to https://www.nationalbluesmuseum.org/visit/hours-and-admission/
And lastly, prayers goes to East St Louis native legenary drummer Sylvester Sunshine Lee who will be prepped for surgery on Friday (info on the surgery was undisclosed). Lee, who worked under the tutelage of the late dancer Katherine Dunham was recently named an Unsung Hero by the Tom Joyner Mornng Show and was featured on the show earlier this week about his career and his mentoring youngsters for free.

Well, in 2016 he is making waves on the TV drama Rosewood that has returned from its winter break last month and slowly rising in the ratings as the lead in to Fox TV;s megahit Empire. One reason for its steady rise in ratings is Chestnut's shirtless scenes. We also give him props for keeping in shape for he has been featured on several fitness magazines.
