YOURS TRULY at Fashion Anarchy's Competition at The Last Hotel rocking a sideways bowtie.

 The logo of the event.

Last Saturday, I checked out Brainchild's fashion competition Fashion Anarchy: The Final Evvnt at The Last Hotel in downtown St Louis. When I arrived, I saw that everyone was sin the lobby and discovered that the event was going to be in the lobby. So when I checked in for my VIP badge, I walked around and saw the crowd of people schmoozing as the competitors for a residency at St Louis Fashion Fund.
The competitors were those who advanced in a Garment District competition in May where they had to create a themed look that reflects the St Louis Garment District.

The competitors were Courtney Tharpe (Winner of Garment District Future) , Amanda Casarez (Winner of the Garment District Present) and Barbara Bultman (winner of the Garment District Past) who, along with their assistants from St Louis Fashion Fund helped dress their models in their respective areas.
Event producer Dwight Carter (right) asks Courtney Tharpe about her design as her assistant looks on.
Amanda Casarez answers the same question about her inspiration.
Barbara Bultman also answers the question.

There was a 30 minute intermission where the crowd had a chance to vote their choice of who should win (I voted for Bultman). Their were selected judges  at the event who were going to choose who would win the residency at St Louis Fashion Fund.
This is the Q Code that the crowd was given to scan for their choice.

AND THE JUDGES CHOICE WAS....

                               BARBARA BULTMAN!

Bultman, her model and assistant receives a bouquet of flowers for winning.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE WAS:

                              COURTNEY THARPE!

After a few more walk arounds and one more martinis (VIPs received two free drink tickets), I left out and continued my Saturday evening traveling about.

For this week, I have one
On Monday, there was a traveling meteor that came through the St Louis area (It was seen by eight other states) and it was seen perfectly at Malcolm Martin Memorial Park. The video went viral and was captured at this spot where YOURS TRULY supervises. The employee at the time who was working (it occurred around 845pmish)  that it happened wasn't aware of what occurred , but luckily it didn't land at the Park!
