Early comers to the Expo.


















MBE cohosts Fox 2's Bonita Cornute and comedian Arvin Mitchell walked through the Expo shouting out vendors.

One of the vendors were selling vintage magazines with prominent African Americans on the cover as well as and black movie posters.





















Poet Explicit and vendor. He also hosted the poetry component of the Expo on the Main Stage. Their locks were also on point!

























Majic 104.9 radio personalities Arika Parr and Pam Oliver (who was wearing a beautiful orange sleeveless knee length summer blouse) were all smiles on the OUTCAM. The station, who was one of the sponsors of the Main Stage, also had a vending booth.























One of the vendors was a tour of a heart from the American Heart Association.




















One of the fave booths were the free sample booths from the Tastes and Tips vendors.

Matthews gave her testimony of her life as Vanity and conquering sex, drugs and rock and roll. She is far from her days of dressing up in lingerie!



























Ralph gave a motivational speech for women of color showcasing their inner diva.

A St Louis poet spoke about the importance of unity in the black community as Cornute, who was the mic passer, looked on.

Meanwhile, the poetry segment was taking place as poet Lightnin spat lyrics on the mic.

Meanwhile, on the mainstage, singer Jzanell signs a poster for a fan before she performed on stage.

Boxing was also going on next to the Main Stage.

Spotted at the Expo was rapper Rucka Puff Rocka sportin rock flair with the candy  striped tank and red sneaks and frohawk.

Backstage were the models  for Brandin Vaughn for Classic Culture fashion showcase.

Aloha backstage as she awaited to during the fashion show but was cut short due to tech problems. Before this, she was part of the Teen Summit Panel in one of the conference rooms facilitated by reality show star Rasheeda.  She also rocked the black ensem with shredded jacket, funky tee, leather pants and knee boots and the pony!

One of the popular sites was Walmart ho as giving away free samples of their beef cuts and school supplies..
















On the main stage performing was East St Louis native rapper B Jo (her pumps were on point!).

A few minutes later, Kansas City native rapper K Stylus performed and he brought his slew of fans with him.
