The main entertainment this year was pop singer Taylor Dayne.
Dayne, who looked great in her silver studded short party dress sang some of her classic hits like Tel It To My Heart, I Will Always Love you and Love Will Lead You Back.
St Louis Rams wide receiver Steven Jackson who was the celebrity guest this year, joined Nelly and Claiborne on stage to be acknowledged his becoming the 27th player in NFL history to rush 10,000 yards which he done earlier that day at the Edward Jones Dome game against The Vikings

NOTE: Overall, this years Black and White Ball was mellow and laid back. We estimate close to 300 to 400 attended. It were many who wondered how the Ball would blend at a makeshift building inside of the Science Center and surprisingly, Synergy and Derrty Ent pulled it off. Gone were the car giveaways and dessert trees and Jermaine Dupri (who usually dee-jays these events), but mainstays such as the dinner, the event photo booth and open bars were in tact. As far as the fashions it looked as though everyone got the memo to wear black and/pr white (some wore gray in some instances). The only disappointment was the party portion was a bit limited after The St Lunatics performed for the impromptu jam session with deejay and at 12:30 after midnight it was announced the party was over and it as off to the next destination of either The City (The Official After Party) or Pepper Lounge.
Oddly enough, we almost didnt attend this year because of higher ups decision not to invite us (it would have been our first time missing it since its creation in 200six) but fortunately we had a connections who spoke in our favor and demanded for OUTSTAGN to attend and we were in the house (and we thank you for that). We had mixed feelings at first, but after seeing everybody those thoughts were all but forgiven--but not forgotten. Also in the house were Derrty ENT's Topher and Shaki Meyers,Fox 2 personality April Simpson, Attorney Scott Rosenbloom, promoters Big Tah, Dano Johnson, Daryel Oliver, Mo Spoon, and Dwight Carter;, STL TV personality Rob Desir, dee jay Jewel, model Sarah Bryant, and fashion stylist Skylar Barnes. There also was an actress from the Tv show, "The Game"but we think she was a guest star. Singer Ashanti did not attend this year.
