 Welcoming the crowd to the fashion was Uyama Umana.

She also gave her perspective of how she dealt with

her friend, Jon Erickque's diagnosis of Stage 3 leukemia while

he was in the hospital and

overhearing doctors talking about his dying and supporitng

him from his struggle to live. 

 Alderwoman Marlene Davis spoke to the crowd briefly about community leadership.

 Erickque gave an emotional testimony of his battle and fight with leukemia and his
miracle healing from the disease.

                                         Singer Ife Jacobs performed a few selections.

                                    The  Fashion show painter artist was Cbabi Bayoc.

 Liz Neunen, a rep from the Leukemia Lymphoma Society spoke on the disease and the rate of survival.

                                               NEXT UP WAS JON ERICKQUE

 Poet X Blu Rayne not only modeled but performed a spoken word piece about 
her modeling in her dress!

The showstopper dress worn by Chicago based supermodel Renatta Noelle!

                                Erickque walked out with friend and assistant, Anne Jones

                             Jones raised Erickque's hand symbolizing his win from cancer.

 Howard performed again for the crowd including a song he wrote in dedication to Erickque.

                                                      Rap artist Rip James also performed.

 Rap artist C Sharp performed and prior to his performance made a demand that STL stop
killing each other,


THE LAST DESIGNS WERE T-GANTER DESIGNS OF CHICAGO

                                                  Erickque modeled one of his designs.

                                                    Ganter walked out with Erickque.

                                              Last performers was dance team, Star

 Erickque led the models and the audience to the finale which was for everyone to
follow him outside for a big send off.

 The send off was for those to grab one of the balloons that represented those
who are living with cancer and who have died from it.

On the count of three, the balloons were released to the sky.....

                                             FLYING HIGH.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



NOTE: Overall the show was quite entertaining with the designers and performers. The stand out fashions were from designers Jon Erickque, Guilty Conscience and T Ganter. As far as the performers, John Howard who performed during the pre show and during the show was the backbone of the performers for he helped fill in time when needed with cover songs (including "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Shereen and his own songs. Other  standouts were Ife who's vocals were outstanding and poet X Blu Rayne who performed a spoken word piece while modeling in the fashion show.  And of course, Jon Erickque whose testimony from fighting and winning from cancer was definitely a moment to be exalted.
